With an easy to use levered dispenser mechanism as standard, this versatile unit from Billi also comes in a simple touch dispenser design if you prefer.

Made here in Melbourne, Australia, the Billi Quadra is connected to a compact, under sink cabinet that’s both out of sight and out of mind. Since it doesn’t require cupboard ventilation, this unit is even more versatile than most filtered water taps, allowing it to be installed in even the tightest locations.

Featuring a single, integrated filter with options of sub-micron 0.2, 5 or 10 micron filtration, it only requires replacement once every 6 months and enjoys all the benefits Billi is renowned for.

In terms of output, it can produce a continuous flow of up to 110 boiling cups (98°C) per hour or 150 chilled cups per hour (6-15°C) of pure, great tasting water.

Design and function

The Billi Quadra features an easy to use levered tap design as standard, which instantly dispenses boiling water from the left hand lever and chilled water from the right hand lever. The tap itself is highly ergonomic and fits comfortably in the user’s hand, giving them firm control over its operation.

From a design perspective, the tap comes standard in a polished chrome finish, with an additional eleven colour schemes available – including Brushed Chrome, Matte White and Matte Black to provide a few examples. This makes it super easy to match with your company’s logo or kitchen décor.

Its compact size is another bonus, with the Billi Quadra using water-cooled technology, meaning no bulky cupboard ventilation is required. As a result, it’s one of the smallest cabinets on the market, measuring just Height 340mm x Width 315mm x Diameter 365mm.

Even if you have the smallest kitchen or cupboard space, this unit will fit with ease.

Chemical filtration

The Billi Quadra comes standard with an integrated filter that has a 0.2, 5 or 10 microns rating, meaning its highly effective in removing sediment, chlorine, bad taste, colour, odour and other impurities.

Its sub-micron filter goes a step further by removing additional cysts and lead. NSF certified, this filter is manufactured using unique Fibredyne technology to give them an extended lifespan, a higher flow rate and lower pressure drop then some other brands on the market.

For a workplace or kitchen, it is recommended these filters be replaced at least once every 6 months so users can continue to enjoy the freshest, most pure tasting water possible (for very high usage or areas with poor water quality, replacement may be required on a more frequent basis).

Water quality

This compact unit does exactly what it says it will, with the cold side dispensing crisp, clean and chilled water that is refreshing to drink and also tastes great. The boiling side delivers instant, clean and very hot water that’s perfect for a cup of tea, coffee or soup - free from chemicals, dirt and a nasty aftertaste.

Maintenance

Although the Billi Quadra Boiling & Chilled 100/150 is a highly compact, electronic filtered water tap and is considered to be one of the more high-tech units on the market, it is relatively low maintenance.

Its filter is very easy to replace yourself, without calling upon the services of a technician. This is due to the fact it’s connected to an easy access swing filter head which simply clicks in and out when replacing the filter. Of course, you can have a professional technician complete this process for you if you wish!

Before changing the filter, it is highly recommended you check all water connection points and tubing to ensure there are no leaks or cracks, which could result in flooding. Any sign of damage to these parts should be followed up with swift replacement!

Value for money

Overall, the Billi Quadra Boiling & Chilled 100/150 is a sleek, compact and highly efficient filtered tap water unit ideal for small business premises or kitchens. Retailing for around $3,800 + GST, it also represents great value for such a high-tech unit – certainly cheaper than other leading brands on the market. It also has a 2 year warranty (5 years for the boiling tank) for added peace of mind.
