On average, it takes approximately 6 grams of CO2 to produce 1 litre of sparkling water. All Zip residential sparkling taps come with a 1 kilogram disposable CO2 bottle and all Zip commercial sparkling taps come with a 2.6 kilogram refillable CO2 bottle. We also have 6 kilogram refillable CO2 bottles available for any larger commercial applications.
A single CO2 bottle can produce up to 166 litres of sparkling water. 2.6kg bottles can produce over 400L, and a 6kg bottle can produce up to 1000L. If you would like us to upgrade your existing Zip sparkling tap, we can do that easily.
This depends. If your system is being used heavily each day by a number of people - say in an office setting - it should be replaced at least every 6 months. Homes can get away with 12 month replacements. Whichever you choose, your Zip system features a built-in monitor to alert you of filter changes.
