Do you install Zip taps in my area?
We have technicians Australia wide and can install in all capital cities and surrounding suburbs, as well as most major regional towns. If unsure, please get in touch and we can let you know.

How much sparkling water can I expect from my sparkling tap?
On average, it takes approximately 6 grams of C02 to produce 1 litre of sparking water. All Zip residential sparkling taps come with a 1 kilogram disposable C02 bottle and all Zip commercial sparkling taps come with a 2.6 kilogram refillable C02 bottle. We also have 6 kilogram refillable C02 bottles available for any larger commercial applications.
A 1 kilogram C02 bottle should produce approximately 166 litres of sparkling water, a 2.6 kilogram C02 bottle should produce approximately 433 litres of sparkling and a 6 kilogram C02 bottle should produce approximately 1000 litres of sparkling water. All Zip sparkling taps can be upgraded to either of the 2.6 kilogram or 6 kilogram C02 bottles as an optional extra.

How often do I need to change my Zip water filter?
This depends on your level of usage and the number of people using it on a daily basis. Most domestic homes should expect about 12 months filter life and most work places about 6 months. The system has a built in monitor to alert you when your filter is due for changing.

Can I change the filter myself or do I need a technician to do it for me?
You can replace your own filters or we do have a fully equipped service division who can do this for you. It's entirely up to you.

Does sparkling water need to be chilled?
Yes, for optimum performance and sparkling quality, all Zip sparkling systems produce chilled sparkling water.
